BBN Music Partners with Hi-Res Audio Platform Qobuz

Note that BBN Music will only send Qobuz high-resolution music. That means your audio file must be at least 16 bits and 44 kHz. If you’ve chosen to utilize BBN Music’s Store Automator, we’ll only deliver your existing releases to Qobuz if they meet this requirement.

High-resolution audio may appear to be a niche interest, but as music fans adapt and change with the digital music scene, its appeal has constantly grown. While BBN Music has always worked to bring independent artists’ music to a wide range of platforms around the world, we recognize that certain music listeners prefer lossless, high-quality audio and songs in specific file formats. As a result, we’re ecstatic to announce our cooperation with Qobuz today.

Qobuz (pronounced ‘KO-buzz’) entered the European digital music industry in 2007, providing audiophiles both streaming and high-resolution downloads of their favorite albums. Qobuz became the favorite digital music supplier for many of these fans as interest in hi-res audio and designing the ultimate stereo system grew. The platform has recently expanded to the United States, and we’re thrilled to assist BBN Songs Artists in distributing their music there.

Qobuz has started delivering great editorial content to consumers through a slick interface that includes streaming and a download store. As they listen to their favorite tunes, subscribers can skim over textual components for new and vintage recordings, genre comments, and artist spotlights. Users of Qobuz can also select the audio file format that they want to listen to.

While high-resolution audio is traditionally associated with genres such as jazz and classical music, BBN Music artists and producers who are concerned about the quality of its tracks may now reach a wider audience by exporting their music via Qobuz.
